Template Description
A template usually with five to nine pages developed in Flash. Flash Site is completely based on Flash, and opens up completely new possibilities in web design. Everyone who has ever seen elegant, modern and unusual Flash Websites will understand that it's something more than just an addition to HTML-based sites. A Flash Template will impart solidity to your company and individuality to your personal webpage. A Non-Flash version is also included.
This package includes the following formats: .PSD; .HTML; .FLA; .SWF.
The .swf format is the Macromedia Flash file format which stands for Shockwave Flash. It is a published Flash file that the Macromedia Flash player reads and interprets. Macromedia's Flash player is a plug-in for internet web browsers which allows Flash animations and other forms of dynamic interactivity. Flash files can also be played in standalone players.
The .fla format is the Macromedia Flash source document for the .swf files. You will need this file if you intend to make changes to your Macromedia Flash presentation (the swf files). This can be used with any machine that has the commercial Macromedia Flash editor which is currently available for Microsoft Windows and Macintosh. Our templates require the latest version of Macromedia Flash editor if you wish to edit your .fla source. You can obtain this software from Macromedia.
The .psd format is the Adobe Photoshop data format which can be read on any machine that has Adobe Photoshop installed. It is cross platform and can be used on both PCs and Macs. The PSD format provides extended support for layering, alpha channels, paths, and vectors. The PSD source file included has the source image files usually in a sliced format which allows you to customize and make changes to the images on your template. This makes it very useful for customizing your website as you see fit. If any additional fonts are required, they are included with the Photoshop file.
The .html source is the original document for your template. This can be edited in Windows notepad or your favorite editor such as Macromedia Dreamweaver, Adobe GoLive, or Microsoft Frontpage.
